2021.09.27 09:23 sakuba Go with PC or PS5 version?

Would it be wiser to go with PC or PS5 version, and why?
I'll be getting a PS5 this December or January. Right now I have a PC with an RTX 2070 GPU, aiming to upgrade to Nvidia RTX 4000-series card when that launches in late 2022.
The Dualsense controller features are tempting for the PS5 version, and I've heard split screen - which PC doesn't have - is useful for some in collecting loot or other resources easier. Of course, it's theoretically possible for them to roll out advanced Dualsense support on PC, as some games have already done.
PC I'm thinking maybe achievements, mod support, and cheaper price? I would likely wait on Steam release if I choose PC.

2021.09.27 09:23 TSBean CLA Websites

I found some websites related to specific colleges like https://sites.google.com/dlsu.edu.ph/oneccs/home for ccs and https://sites.google.com/dlsu.edu.ph/virtualbcg/home for cob and I was just wondering if there are websites specifically for CLA?

2021.09.27 09:23 cynicoolwhale Music and ADHD

Does anyone else find a song and then play it on repeat, non-stop for days and weeks at a time? The particular song is all I can think about. I've heard that this is an ADHD "serotonin chasing" thing but other people say it's normal.
I also cannot focus on things like driving when someone else is playing their music. I have to really really try hard to think about driving and therefore struggle to have a conversation, for example, while driving. So no multitasking. I'm thinking it's because my music gives me serotonin so I'm being "rewarded" while driving which is a boring task but when it's someone else's music, there's no reward so double boring.

2021.09.27 09:23 Gokudera Embroidery x Copyright question

So I had a question I see a lot of people using embroidery to make anime/designs especially Nike, Pokemon and Anime shows on tshirts on TikTok, Etsy and YouTube. I know you're not allowed to sell it but why do people sell it? How does the copyright work on embroidery I wanted to get into embroidery to make some fun anime shirts for myself using designs from Etsy but friends already said they would buy it and buying a 900 euro embroidery machine with no selling seems like a big investment but I would primary make anime designs for myself and would be a shame if I can't make profit if I wanted to (not for now maybe way later)
I know some of the regular rules of copyright like if you dont have a official license you can't sell. They can shut you down or sue you if they find you. If it's recognizable you can't. Basically you cannot use an imagine or designs based on the anime/logo (gray area for parody logos) but yeah. Anyone with experience?

2021.09.27 09:23 ErrorDizzy Former or current university students, should I go with the risky or safe course option?

Hey Melbourne, I'm a high schooler who's pretty stressed about the state of the job market (and my place in it) that I'm emerging into.
I still have a while until I graduate, but I'm currently tossing up between bachelor of paramedicine, nursing and science. These of course all depend on if my ATAR allows it.
Paramedicine (3 years) is my all time passion, but it's super risky as only about 1 in 5 grads gets jobs, and the job market is probably only getting worse from here.
Nursing (3 years) is a safer option than the former, but is still pretty competitive and I don't know if I would like it (cancelled hospital work experience due to COVID), so committing to an intense job with a narrow degree that I'm unsure about sounds like a bad idea.
Bachelor of science (3 years+) is probably the safest option, lots to branch out to, but the degree on it's own probably won't get me a job I want (will probably need post-grad studies.) Also probably more heavily research-based and less patient contact, which I'm not sure about.
Wondering if anyone has experience with these courses, or with following their passions vs. being realistic in terms of getting a job. Any advice is welcomed, thanks Melbourne!
